I am a nerd with golden retriever energy. My passion for nature and biology started very very young, as a 10 year old, determined to become a biologist.
My determination led me to a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and to discover my passion area, which I excel at, Computational Biology and it’s applications to medicine.
As a person with immense drive to succeed and a never ending criativity, I chose an uncommon path: learning from engineers, applying my knowledge to medicine. With this balance between tech and science, I completed a first Masters in Complexity Sciences deepening my abbilities in the development of mathematical models, programming and data driven projects.
More recently, I finish a second Masters, this one in Data Science & Advanced Analytics, with the aim of deeepening my knowledge on the full pipeline of data and applying this knowledge to medicine. From databases to data visualization, algorithms to artificial intelligence and years of statistics and mathematical modelling practice, my knowlegde, drive and curiosity has shown to be useful in areas so different as clinical imunology or neurology with sucessful publications as co-author (See : My Publications).
My drive and passion is to use the maths and tech I deeply love to actively help in clinical and medicine projects I care so much for, becoming an example of the balance between tech and biology that shows so much promise. I seek to integrate within research teams and work alongside clinical and wet lab researchers, complementing their work and not to subsitute them.
I’m currently looking into PhD projects to keep advancing my career so if you have a clinical/medicine project that could benefit from a nerd enthusiastic computational biologist, contact me ! =)
